I was recently with my wife in the Poststuben restaurant. Unfortunately there is nothing good to report here. The food was watery, as if it had been quickly warmed up in the microwave. Unfortunately it was inedible! In addition, we had to wait for our food forever. Therefore unfortunately only 1 star.

The dinner-in-the-dark arrangement was just fantastic. It was a great experience, a nicely run event. The cleanliness of the hotel room was pico bello. Everything you need. Breakfast was delicious, cozy and nice. The hotel is very cute.

Cute hotel, we had our room in the villa. Very friendly service. Dogs allowed. WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS. We would come again.

I attended a dinner in the dark here. It was a very interesting experience. By switching off the sense of sight, the taste buds were more sensitive and so I could concentrate more on the food. The 3-course menu was served in complete darkness. It tasted very delicious and only after consumption, you were informed about what you ate. A very exciting story. I can only recommend.

I went to 'Dinner in the Dark' in the post office. I can not really say if the service came from the restaurant but it was very good and that too in the dark. The quality of the delicacies that came from the kitchen were culinary delights, especially if you can not be distracted by the look.

One of the best restaurants in Auerbach and surroundings. Changing menu, seasonal offers and high quality of food are absolutely convincing here. The restaurant is nicely decorated and offers a great ambiance. The service is very attentive and also happy to fulfill special requests for food or decoration with appropriate reservation in advance.

The room dates from the 70's and is in need of much renovation. Here has not been invested for years. Looks like a 50 year old granny flat - and smells like that too. The room is very hot even on cool days. If you open the windows to get some ventilation, you have the street noise and the window falls out of the frame as the tilting mechanism is broken. The worst part is the bathroom. With super-saving shower in the shower, good for the host, but bitter for the guest: The thin powerful spray piqued on the skin like needles, too little water for a proper shower. Brown oxidized drains in shower and bath. Other impressions: Cushion filled with plastic beads, lamp without light bulb, TV without picture, towels as hard as stone. Dried liver sausage for breakfast. The whole thing is called family room. With 2 children were completely overpriced 160 Eur for the night calculated. Here capital is hit from the proximity to Frankfurt. Fair price also over Easter for families. Never again! The good reviews are incomprehensible to me. There are probably a few good friends have left friend ratings.

Sockets in short supply. A notebook can only be connected if you have brought an extension cable. Toilet separated from the bed by a sliding door 1 meter. Cold, windowless bathroom shines with a "width" of approx. 80 cm. The smell of damp towels permeates the rather cool room after showering (18). Even after 12 hours of absence, the small room smells of damp towels when you come back. Don't know whether to laugh or cry. I have now visited around 350 hotels in 8 years for professional reasons, including several other 3 star hotels. The Hotel Restaurant Poststuben is unfortunately at the very bottom of my personal scale. Overall, this is not recommended here. The 3 stars are absolutely puzzling to me ...

Family run hotel with restaurant. Nice rooms in the new building as practical in cultivation. Everything was very well maintained and pleasant atmosphere. The staff is professional, knowledgeable and helpful as friendly. Also, the restaurant is highly recommended with fresh fish dishes and more regional characteristics (game dishes for the season) Practical but well-maintained wine list. Not quite cheap but everything in 1 a quality and worth every penny. Rich breakfast buffet
